Available for Arcades via Steam 7aa9394dea Title: BOXVRGenre: Action, Casual, Indie, SportsDeveloper:FitXRPublisher:FitXRRelease Date: 21 May, 2019 BOXVR Hacked Had this for a few days and i have to say its some of the better money ive spent on VR. The only workout i really get is kiteboarding and thats basically 0 cardio so i needed to get off my♥♥♥♥♥and have some fun. Really got me moving and i couldnt do any more squats the first day of 40 min use. Did the Endurance for 38 min the third day (didnt have so much squats and leg work really, i hope they add more in the longer sessions but no big deal) + some leg workouts and i hope to continue this every second day. For the first time i think i can actually manage cause its a lot of fun! Hope they fix the room centering cause its not working for me. And some controls for rotating the room later on. Also hope they add some options for high kicks using tracking pucks, that would be a lot of fun and probably a broken speaker or tv. good game until the recent update. None of the songs are working since the release update. Had to go to the last beta to use it again. If they get the problems fixed or if you don't mind playing the early access bata, I give this a big thumbs up. Until they let us know what they are doing about the update, I can't recomend this game.. This is one of my most played VR games, and certainly my most regularly played VR game. For once, this is a game you can be proud of when you look at the hours played! I try to get in a session at least once a day in the evening. This is the most fun solo, indoor exercise I've ever done. There is an option for multi-player workouts, but I haven't tried that. There are plenty of workouts to choose from, some with just punching, and others with a mix of punching and squatting. The instrumental, electronic music tracks are great, and haven't gotten old for me.Reviewers complaining about the pacing probably aren't doing the workouts properly, or don't have the imagination to figure out ways to enhance the workouts presented by the game. More time between punches means more time to prep and perform a full punch that will workout your muscles better, and there's nothing stopping you from doing extra punches or movements outside of the ones the game is 'forcing' on you. I also use a rebounder, so I'm always in motion, even during the rest periods. The hit recognition is pretty good. At first, I thought it was bad, but it just took some time to get the feel for it, and now I rarely miss. I got up to 380 consecutive hits in survival mode, and my controller battery died at that point, so who knows how high I would have gotten? Hit recognition is naturally dependent on the quality of your setup, and ultimately, if you're playing this game to get a workout, who cares if the hit is recognized or not? What matters is that you're doing the motion.. One of the best vr games there is. If you box or train mma at all you are going to enjoy this! But even if you don't you will gain some usable skills if you stick with it.. It is a very good fitness game! Sometimes my hits don't register, but then I just adjust the gloves and it gets fixed. I do recommend this game because it does get you moving and has a quality sound track to begin with...I don't know why, but all the 5's are upside down 2's in the achievements.... Overall, it's a fun VR boxing style workout. If that's what you're looking for, then go for it. Personally, it motivated me to find new ways to workout. All the humidity from sweating worried me, as it would be all over the inside of the goggles. If you don't mind cleaning out all the nooks and crannies, it's worth having. This more or less taught me I don't really want to use my headset for working out.
